History

The WBHA (World Barrel Horse Association) was founded in Brazil in 2016, searching of growth and development of barrel racing internationally. The founding countries are twenty-two: Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela. More countries continue to be integrated each year, so Australia and Guatemala are now also a part of it.

There are currently partnerships with countries that have participated in our global countries to which we also extend this invitation, such as Austria, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Netherlands and some others with whom we have already contacted and initiated steps to join as the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
